The Agricultural Microbiology PosGraduate Program (PPGMA) started in August of 2001 consolidating the Microbiology sector of Biology Department and partnerships with other UFLA Department’s. UFLA is traditional Centre of excellence in Agricultural Sciences and the PPGMA aims the development of researches in agriculture, agroindustry and environment. The PPGMA focus is on basic research and development of technology to aid the agricultural microbiology problems. Partnership with agriculture producers, industries and community is always there, and allows the improvement of the technology for high quality and safety food production in a friendly environment.
