REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
– Master Degree: Graduates in any area of knowledge
– Doctoral Degree: Graduates in any area of knowledge; Master Degree in any course recognized by CAPES.
PRINTED DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED BY THE PROGRAM:
Master and Doctoral Degrees: Curriculum vitae standardized by the Program according to specific assessment worksheet, with all vouchers (numbered and bound); Curriculum vitae Assessment worksheet (CvAW) duly completed; Original proof of payment of GRU.
ADDRESS FOR SUBMISSION OF PRINTED DOCUMENTATION: The documentation required by the PPGCS/UFLA must be delivered personally or through an attorney-in-fact, to the College’s Postgraduation Office or posted via Post Office until the last day of registration, under penalty of the applicant being refused. During the delivery of the documentation in person, the holder will receive a proof of delivery of the document. When posted, the proof of posting should be sent to email processoseletivoppgcs@dcs.ufla.br no later than 6:00 pm on the last day of registration.
It is not necessary to authenticate supporting documents, which must be bound and organized following the order of the CvAW items in this annex. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in disqualification. We will not accept delivery of documents by third parties without a power of attorney-in-fact.

SELECTION STAGES: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the evaluation of the curriculum vitae and written tests of knowledge on Soil Science and English language.
The preparation of the Curriculum Vitae, according to the Curriculum Vitae Assessment Worksheet (CvAW), is the responsibility of the candidate, and the supporting documents must be organized in the same sequence as the CvAW items. The applicant must complete the CvAW. Check print version of CvEW at: http://www.prpg.ufla.br/solos/processo-seletivo-20171-2/. The evaluation of the CvAW will be done only based on supporting documentation, with points assigned to the items described in the Worksheet below. The points will be relativized to the curriculum with the highest score, which will receive grade of 100 (one hundred). The grade of the Curriculum Vitae Worksheet will have weight of 50% in the calculation of the Final Grade.
The test of knowledge in Soil Science will be discursive and will consist of 04 (four) questions: – 01 (one) general question of the area of Soil Science; – 03 (three) questions specific to the area selected by the candidate. The candidate who obtains a grade lower than 50% in the test of Knowledge in Soil Science will be eliminated from the Selective Process. The written test of English Language will be composed of 04 (four) questions, elaborated aiming at the understanding and interpretation of exposed text of the area of Soil Science and related areas. Only the use of a dictionary will be allowed for candidates to the master’s degree course. Assignment of values of the discursive tests Calculation of the Final Grade The final grade of the candidate will be calculated through weighted means of the items. Weight per test (%): Knowledge in Soil Science – 70% English Language – 30%
GENERAL PROVISIONS: The registration of the candidate who does not indicate the Area of Concentration will not be homologated. The call of the approved candidates and the alternates will necessarily follow the order of classification by area of concentration. In case of a tie in the final score of the selection process, it will be applied the provisions in §2 of art. 44 of Law No. 9,394 of December 20, 1996, with priority being given to the candidate who proves to have the lowest family income. Persisting the tie, it will be considered as selected the candidate who obtains the highest grade in the Written Test (Knowledge in Soil Science and in English Language); and then the one who obtains the highest grade from the Curriculum Vitae Assessment Worksheet (CvAW).
