The European Commission published the GLOBAL ATLAS BIODIVERSITY ATLAS – GLOBAL SOIL BIODIVERSITY ATLAS. The launch was on 25/5 at the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi. The prof. Dr. Fatima Maria de Souza Moreira is one of the authors and publishers of Atlas.

It was published in the edition of the Brazilian Journal of Soil Science v. 38, no. 6, the article “ARBUSCULAR MICORRHYTIC FUNGI IN MURUNDUS FIELDS AFTER CONVERSION FOR AGRICULTURAL SYSTEMS IN THE CLOSED”. This paper describes the first study of the diversity of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and the impact of the conversion into an agricultural system in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Southwest Goiania, the phytophysiognomy called Campos de Murundu. The cover of this edition includes a photo by Prof. Dr. Marco Aurélio Carbone Carneiro on the murundus fields.
