The program encourages PhD students to perform part of their doctoral studies abroad in world lead institutions in the field of Soil Science or related fields through a program called International Doctoral Sandwich Program (PDSE – http://www.capes.gov.br/bolsas/bolsas-no-exterior/programa-de-doutorado-sanduiche-no-exterior-pdse) and Science Without Borders (http://www.cienciasemfronteiras.gov.br/web/csf-eng/), among others. Also, we can receive foreign students to perform part of their studies in our program.  Therefore, students can apply for scholarships and travel expenses in both national and international funding agencies.
