The Department of Soil Science has a wide network of facilities, with laboratories that serve the areas of Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition; Biology, Microbiology and Biological Processes of Soil and Environmental Resources and Land Use (Mineralogy, Chemistry, Genesis, Soil Survey and Classification, Soil Physics and Conservation, Soil Micromorphology) and the Certified Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry.
