General Information
The academic program aims to train researchers and teachers in the area of Plant Genetics and Breeding. The professional Master aims to qualify human resources already working in public and private companies in the area of plant breeding.
The student must attend a minimum of 24 credits for the Master and 32 credits for a doctorate. The duration is 24 months for the Master and 48 months for the Doctoral.
The granting of scholarships is subject to the availability of resources from funding agencies: CNPq, CAPES and FAPEMIG. The criteria for distribution of scholarships are set by the funding agencies and the Plant Genetics and Breeding Program. The approval of the candidate selection process does not imply an undertaking to award scholarship.
