This program has as main goals: to enable forest engineers or professionals of similar fields to act as professors or researchers in the field of Forest Sciences, providing them with holistic view on the environment and enabling them to exercise the concept of sustainable development. A second goal is to generate basic and applied knowledge, technologies and new products inside their line of research.

SITUATION:

The master’s program in Forest Engineering began in March/1993, this being recommended by GTC/CAPES in its appreciation on 09/03/1992.

The doctorate program in Forest Engineering began in March/2000, this being recommended by GTC/CAPES in its appreciation on 12/07/2000.
